Gin Mill at Pickled Parrot
Gin Mill advanced last week despite being beaten by Claddagh (DR LAXX) in their playoff game. Neither of the goalies for Claddagh showed so they had to forfeit and use Rich Butler who plays for Gin Mill. Claddagh wound up winning by three or four goals but ended their season due to the forfeit. The Parrot advances on their disappointing overtime loss to the Crease Monkeys. This is the second time this season the Crease Monkeys have beaten the Parrot in OT. The matchup between Gin Mill and the Parrot should be heated with Parrot averaging 13.5 points per game and Gin Mill averaging 10.0. The Parrot goaltenders have a save percentage of 76% while Gin Mill goalies average 75%. The teams have similar goals against with opponents scoring 54 goals on the Parrot and 55 goals on Gin Mill.

DC Open at Crease Monkeys
Coming off their OT win over the Parrot, the Crease Monkeys will look to advance to the next round by beating the DC Open team.
