Opportunity for DR LAXX to get together for practice

OK fellas, here's the deal - some have expressed an interest in getting together for practice on a regular basis. While we look into that possibility for getting some evening field time somewhere I propose we utilize the weekly pick-up games at Owings Mills Sportsplex as a convenient way to get together and play with one another more than once a week. The games have been taking place on field 1, which is the larger of the two. I did hear that turnout was poor last week and the session was cancelled. If you can make it, wear your DR LAXX helmets and bring a pinney white/dark. Message below from the guy organizing:

Amended: Guys,

As of now, we have about 7 guys, with a possible 8, and as far as I
know, no goalies...

Thought I would send this out one last time to see if anyone wants to
come tonight. If I don't get a few more NEW responses, then I guess we
will have to cancel tonight.

I will say that as soon as lacrosse season is over we will have a lot
more people coming out, so even if things are looking bad now, they
should at least start to pick up in about a month or so...

I will send out an email at about 1pm with whether or not we are playing
tonight.

So if you haven't responded to me yet, and you are going to try to make
it out tonight, please shoot me an email...

Thanks
Dave"

"Guys,

Our next pickup indoor lacrosse game at the Owings Mills Sportsplex (
http://www.owingsmillssportsplex.com/) has been set for this Wednesday,
April 13 at 8 p.m. on field 1.

Please bring a white and/or dark jersey (navy or black) with you (no cleats
- we will be playing on field turf). Please arrive no later than 7:45 p.m.
so we can warm up and pick teams. The player fees are $5 per person
(goalie will continue play for FREE). There will be an attendant at the
front desk collecting money. You will also need to sign a injury waiver
sheet.

See you Wednesday.
Thanks
"
