DR LAXX loses a hard fought contest with Kisslings
DR LAXX put its best foot forward this weekend and battled Kisslings Lacrosse Club in a tightly contested game which was not decided until late in the fourth quarter. The teams spent most of the game trading goals with each team having a run of only two goals at a time until the middle of the fourth. With the score tied at 8, Kisslings went on a scoring run to put the game out of reach, scoring three quick goals. DR LAXX stopped the run with a goal of their own but that was all that was left. The final wound up being 12 to 9 in favor of Kisslings. DR LAXX falls to 3-2 on the season.
Rich Butler was on fire in the goal, keeping us anchored and in the game the whole way. The offensive has started to gel but we still need to work out some continuity and playing time issues - Coach Pearce is working on it!
NEXT GAME: Magerks at Apache Field, in Linthicum on Thursday, 14 April at 8 PM.
