NLL narrowly avoids cancelled season
League & Players Reach Agreement
So the NLL and the players almost cause the season to be cancelled because in the 10 months since the last extension of the CBA was signed they were not able to negotiate an agreement. Some threats by the league and tough talk by the players reps coupled with intense negotion was able to save the season.
Come on fellas - this is supposed to be the year of the NLL, with hockey fans dying for some hard hitting action and ESPN not having a hockey game of the week to show they are left with the options of airing NLL games or more bass fishing and poker tournaments. Here's hoping someone at ESPN sees the light and opts for a weekly NLL game!
